Umschweif / Kiertoilmaus

(Rough translation: "Cross-reference")

"Found in Translation"- was an exchange project between two galleries in Berlin (Scotty Enteprises) and Helsinki (Huuto). Each gallery was represented by eleven artists. The idea of the exhange was that each artist gave one work to which randomly selected artist from the other gallery responded with a new work. The work I was lucky to be tasked to respond to was Kiki Gebauers "Zuschlag". In the work I wanted to "go around the obstacle".
