fortress / linnake

 The idea for the artwork from some years before the exhibition was revitalized after exploring the OBJEKTI exhibition area in Espoon keskus. A round white ceramic oven with hatches repeatedly opening to different directions encircles a living tree like a fortress. It´s as if the oven defends and threatens the tree at the same time.
